How long does a treatment take?
A Scarlet SRF treatment takes about 20 minutes for the face and 10 minutes for the neck. The time needed for a body treatment will depend on the size and condition of the area being treated.
Is there any special preparation or follow-up regimen?
No, there is no special preparation need. Basic and gentle skin care for several days following is enough for the aftercare. Avoid direct sunlight and always use sunscreen.
For scalp tightening, patients may feel a slight pulling or tugging sensation on their scalp a few days following the procedure. The skin that was previously sagging will now feel tight and supple.
What to Expect
A numbing agent will be applied to most areas prior to the treatment, except for the scalp, and most patients report experiencing little to no discomfort.
